2020 Christmas Cycling Gifts

Christmas gift buying for that cyclist in your life can make this a stressful time of year. We have compiled a list of some of the must have cycling presents of 2020 to inspire your gift buying..

Tailfin Bikepacking Pack

Bikepacking is becoming one of the more popular ways to holiday by bike, but these packs also allow you to take more items for those long rides where you don't want to stuff hundreds of 'necessary' objects into your jersey pockets.

The Tailfin pack is especially fantastic as you can attach it to pretty much any bike and it is rigid in place, unlike other packs which can sway behind you on a windy day.

These packs are also allowing us to use our bikes more in everyday life, like popping to the shops therefore reducing the use of the car which can only be a good thing.

Pro Cycling Monopoly

Fans of the tradition of a Christmas day boardgame and the worlds best professional cycling races are in for a real treat this Christmas, as the iconic Monopoly franchise have released it's own special cycling board which allows you to buy the famous climbs and cobbled sections of the Spring classics.

Switch out Park Lane, Fenchurch Street Station and Northumberland Avenue, and replace it with the likes of the Koppenberg, Arenberg and Poggio. Hours of fun are sure to be had, but it may also take a few hours to explain what the importance of owning La Redoute might be for those in the family that might not be so up to speed with these famous races.

Beeline Velo

This perfect little navigation device is a simple to use gadget that can be used for a short trip around town but also works great for those longer day rides.

Launched as a kickstarter back in 2015, Beeline has gone from strength to strength. It started out as a way to explore a point to point ride without having to plot each turn in the road. It is deliberately minamalist offering current direction of travel and just the next point you will be heading in. This allows you to just enjoy your ride and not be too concerned with the watts you might think you need to hit.

Veloforte

We all know how divisive sports nutrition products like bars and gels can be, and let's face it, most would be the last thing we would choose from the kitchen cupboard unless you knew that it was a necessary evil to get you over that last climb of the day to your journeys end.

So when you come along a bar that actually tastes great, it is worth celebrating. Veloforte uses natural ingredients but still provides all the energy you need for any ride.

Tern Bicycles

E-bikes are now all the rage, and for good reason. They are allowing us to be out on the bike more and to experience more. There are some fantastic road e-bikes out on the market this Christmas like the Pinarello Niitro which will of course get you up and over those big mountain passes next summer, but for all round everyday use we have chosen Tern Bicycles on our Christmas gift list as these amazing bikes are versatile and provide people with an alternative to the car.

And if you were to have any doubt, why not ask Olympic Champions Laura & Jason Kenny.
