Booking a Road Cycling Trip
How to book a road cycling trip through our website

1. How do I book a road cycling trip with Bikecation?

Simply use our search bar or browse our destination and climb pages for your perfect road cycling holiday. Once you have created your package choosing any elements from flights, accommodation, bike hire and much more, follow the instructions on the page to book your trip.

2. What happens after I have booked my self-guided road cycling trip?

Once you have selected the elements you wish to include in your bike trip and have paid either a deposit or the full payment amount you will receive an authorisation email and after all the elements of the trip have been accepted a confirmation email will also be sent out to you.

3. What is the difference between an authorisation email and a confirmation email?

An authorisation email means that the card you have chosen to pay with has been accepted and that the elements of your trip you have selected has been received and is currently being checked. A confirmation email is sent once all the elements of your trip have been confirmed for the correct price.

4. What happens if anything changes between receiving an authorisation email and a confirmation email?

One of the Bikecation team will be in touch with you to discuss your cycling holiday with you if any prices have changed since the point of booking. No money has been taken at this stage and will remain pending until you have approved the holiday with one of our team.

5. When is my final balance due?

If you have paid with a deposit schedule, your final balance will be due 12 weeks before departure unless stated in your confirmation email.

6. When do I receive my cycling information document?

Your cycling information document is sent out to you via email 8 weeks before departure and contains information on rides, accommodation and things to do.
