Andorra Cycling Route

Andorra is a great place to ride a bike. It's compact nature and 21 col's mean anywhere you turn there is an epic climb or epic descent. Below are two of our favourtie routes from from La Massana.

La Massana Loop - Easy - 43km, 1400m of climbing -  This is a fairly easy route for Andorra. but you still climb 1400m. Starting from La Massana you pass the Vallnord Bikepark and climb the Coll d'Ordino. This climb starts abruptly but there is a little plateau half way up to recover. From the top you sweep down in to the adjoining valley before you start the climb back over to La Massana.

Andorra - Hard - 100km - 3400m of climbing - The route leaves La Massana and heads gently downhill to Andorra La Vella. a nice start to get the legs spinning. From here you climb up to the Spanish border on a stunningly narrow road with great views. You descend down a heavily hairpinned road to Bixessarri before turning right and taking on the second col of the day. Returning towards Andorra La Vella this is an excellent place for lunch, or you can take the small road round the town. The last climb of the day is the Col de Beixalis.

The final option is to take on the climb of Arcalis:
