Itinerary - We can customise this trip for you!

Day 1: Arrive in Ghent

We recommend driving to Ghent if you are based in the UK. It's a short hop from the ferry or Eurostar.  With a morning crossing you will have time to build your bike (or pick up your hire bike) and grab some lunch. In the afternoon you will have time for a warm up ride down the Scheldt .

Day 2: Flanders Race Route

Today you will ride all the famous bergs in the area that the pros ride over when they do the famous Flanders one day race. There is the option to do this over 74km or 139km.

KOPPENBERG

Nicknamed 'Vlaanderens Mooiste' ("Flanders finest"), this is one of the most legendary hills in the Flemish Ardennes.

TAAIENBERG

Famous due to the fact that not only the Tour of Flanders, but also the E3 Harelbeke and the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad all pass over this hill.

OUDE KWAREMONT

At 2,200 m. the Oude Kwaremont is the longest paved climb in Belgium.

PATERBERG

The Paterberg is a steep narrow cobbled incline of 360 m. with a maximum gradient of 20.3 % and it is the place in the race people choose to attack.

Day 3: Muur van Geraardsbergen

This ride takes you to the famous Muur van Geraardsbergen. This famous Berg, used to be the decisive climb on the old Flanders course and it's steep narrow and often slippery surface is a real challenge.

Day 4: Departure day

There is time for one final cafe run round, before you checkout. If you want to extend this trip, this is possible. Simply contact us.
