Itinerary - We can customise this trip for you!

Day 1: Arrive in Girona

We recommend a morning flight. After arriving you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel in Girona. You will have time to build your bike (or pick up your hire bike) and grab some lunch. In the afternoon we suggest you go and ride the famous Rocacorba climb and see if you can beat Simon Yate's time of 31:42 to the top.

Day 2: Head to the Hills

Today's ride is based upon the Gran Fondo Sea Otter Europe. The loop takes you from Girona, west up to the hills. Head towards Salt and Bescanó, before arriving in Bonmatí and tackling the first climb up the Les Serres road, a mountain pass that you will ride twice today in this figure of 8 loop. The first descent will take you to the Vall del Llémena and on to Les Planes d’Hostoles, in the Garrotxa region. From here you will head to Amer, turning off after Pasteral and onto a shadowy, wild road to the Susqueda Reservoir, before ascending the gruelling Nafré mountain pass to Osor. Here begins the long descent to Anglès, which will take you back to Bonmatí, where they will have to brave the Les Serres mountain pass for the second time. You will return to Girona through the Vall del Llémena, down alluring roads that pass through Llorà, Canet d’Adri and Sant Gregori before finishing back at the hotel.

Day 3: The Coast Road

Today you turn away from the mountains and head to the coast. The destination is the beautiful rolling coast road with great views over the Mediterranean. You return through vineyards and countryside to Girona. Don’t let the lack of mountains fool you, today will be a tough day of constant undulation, small roads and even an optional splash of gravel roads.

Day 4: Departure day

There is time for one final cafe run round the lanes of Girona before we transfer you back to the airport. We recommend you get an afternoon or evening flight. If you want to extend this trip, this is possible. Simply contact us.
