Price - £495pp

Prices start from £495 per person (based on 2 people sharing a double or twin room) for 3 nights self-guided road cycling

Dates

The best time to go and cycle is determined by the weather. You will only be able to ride the high Cols between May and the end of September due to snow on the peaks. For the best chance of a sunny day with quiet roads you will want to pick a date in June or September.

Accommodation

We provide the best range of cycling friendly accommodation in Europe, from small family run hotels to larger grand hotels.

Airport Transfers

On arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred directly to your hotel. A transfer will also collect you on your final day and take you back to the airport.

Meals

Your stay will include bed & breakfast. Please contact the office if you would like to include your evening meals.

Bike Hire

We can supply the best bikes for hire in all of our self guided cycling destinations. Simply contact the office for more information.

Flights

You can add flights to any of our cycling holidays, search now.

Itinerary - We can customise this trip for you!

Day 1: Arrive in Interlaken

We recommend a morning flight. After arriving in Zurich or Geneva you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel in Interlaken. You will have time to build your bike (or pick up your hire bike) and grab some lunch. In the afternoon you will have time for a quick warm up ride.

Day 2: Furka pass

Today's ride takes you past lakes and up to the summit of the famous Furka Pass. This road was made famous by the James Bond Goldfinger car chase, and it must be one fo the most beautiful mountain roads in Europe.

Day 3: Saint Gotthards Pass

What truly distinguishes the Gotthard from any other legendary mountain pass, is the old cobbled road or Tremolastrasse through the Val Tremola or Trembling Valley from Airolo. An extraordinary noodle of 38 tightly bunched hairpins. We recommend jumping on the train at the begining and end of the day to Meiringen to shorten this otherwise long day.

Day 4: Departure day

There is time for one last final cafe run round before we transfer you back to the airport. We recommend you get an afternoon or evening flight. If you want to extend this trip, this is possible. Simply contact us.
