The Maratona dles Dolomites is a unique event dedicated to the celebration of cycling and offers the opportunity to climb, on a single day, some of the most celebrated mountain passes that have featured in the Giro d’Italia. The event attracts over 25000 participants a year of which 9000 get the privilege of enjoying one of the most dramatic mountain sceneries in Europe totally free of motorised traffic.

In total the Maratona dles Dolomites has 3 routes you can attempt.

1. The Sella Ronda course is the shortest of the 3 at 55-kilometres in length and gaining an altitude of 1780 metres.

3. The complete Maratona course is a whopping 138-kilometres in length and 4230 metres in elevation as you ride over famous passes like the Passo Pordoi, Passo Gardena, Passo Giau and Passo Falzarego.
