The Nove Colli


The Nove Colli (nine hills) bike race is regarded as the first sportive of its nature ever. Since 1970 a local club to the area have organised the event, which now has 13000 riders taking part on a 200km closed course.

The event has grown massivily over the year and is now broadcast live on Italian TV. It's also one of the largest gatherings of cyclists in Europe and a large exhibition in Cesenatico over the course of the weekend hosts some of the biggest brands and names in cycling.

Featured Hotel 

Stay in Hotel Lungomare which is a dedicated bike hotel located in Cesenatico where the event actually starts. The start is pretty much outside the hotel.

Participants of the Nove Colli will enjoy the impeccably organised event that has 100% closed roads, well marked climbs and feed stations stocked with energy food and local specialities on the route.

The Nove Colli can be ridden over 2 courses, the shorter route at 130km and the longer route of 200km.

As its name suggests there are nine climbs on the route which vary in length, elevation and difficulty.
