Restaurant Sant Pere del Bosc is our choice for local food. Don’t miss the grilled prawns! This area is also known for its cured meats, sausages and cheese; these are available everywhere!

What to do, other than ride?

Other than cycling and spending time on the beach (Lloret beach and Fenals beach are our pick) - spend a day at the huge Water World, walk through the very pretty Sant Clotilde gardens, visit the colourfully decorated Parish Church of Sant Roma. or jump on a boat and head to the Santa Cristina Hermitage a beautiful small island.

Snorkeling, paddle boarding and boat-based activities are all popular and also available from most beaches in the area. If you like your food, don't miss the Tuesday market either!

What Climb not to miss?

Don't miss climbing the Sant Grau

What you didn't know about Lloret de Mar?

Lloret de Mar town center was not so close to the coast in the town’s history. It was located around one kilometre further from the coast near Chapel of Les Alegries, which used to be the main church before the current one, Church of Sant Roma, was built. The reason for this inland location was protection - the city was targeted by pirates, namely the English and French, as well as Turkish and Algerian.
