Martigny, Switzerland

Martigny is nestled in to the foot hills of the Swiss Alps, 471m above sea level. It is a short drive from Lake Geneva and ideally suited for cycling - being at the junction of roads leading to France, Italy and Switzerland.

Where to Ride?

Superb roads, unspoilt scenery - Switzerland is a paradise for road cycling. From Martigny, head either up the Grand Saint Bernard Pass towards Italy or up over the Col de la Forclaz to France and the Chamonix valley. Verbier is also easily reached from here and if you fancy a rest day, an easy spin to Lake Geneva is easily doable in the day.

Where to Stay?

Our pick of the accommodation in Martigny is Motel des Sports. An exceptional bike hotel with all the facilities, local knowledge and guides that you can need.
